Undeniable Fact: Anti up

Tuesday, October 10, 2006

Everyone knows about the periodic table of elements, but what's less well-known is the periodic table of antielements.

That's right: for every element, there's a corresponding antimatter equivalent.

Here is a pdf of the periodic table of antielements.

For the sake of convenience, you can order a poster online:
11x17 inches
16x20 inches

do the anit-elements share the same chemical qualities?

ie is anit-metal still conductive like metal?

The anti-elements share similar properties to normal elements but in reverse.

So for instance, metals are still conductive but electricity flows in the opposite direction to normal metals.

ah that is quite cool. So in theory could you build a perpetuum mobile or superconductor by combining metals and their anti-matter counterpart into one elctrical circuit?

I created some antimatter myself, it was anti oxygen matter, I rubbed my dog & cat's butts togeather and it created whe worst of smells! That's how you create anti-oxygen matter!!!

Can anti hydrogen atoms fuse to create anti helium, and in the process release energy?

You can't fuse an element & anti element they would cause an explosion! Why do you think we can't make them?

Anyway is there a picture of the anti-periodic table in better quality? i can't see it properly.
