Where's the beef?

So what the heck is a buffalo anyway? Turns out it's a cross between a bison and a cow.

A cross between a cow and a bison/buffalo is called a 'beefalo'. Use bison or buffalo interchangably to describe the largest native North American herbivore. Cattle are an imported species.

"Beefalo" is simply modern slang for a buffalo (a bison-cow hybrid), same as "beefaroni" is the modern slang term for chili-mac.

Sorry, I thought this was a serious site. Beefalo is not modern slang. I suggest a simple google search for 'beefalo' for enlightenment.
